Emeldi Limited UK (part of Emeldi Group) has successfully deployed the new self-service platform for Stevenage Borough Council www.stevenage.gov.uk

Emeldi delivered Proof of Concept (PoC) using agile development methodologies. The project proved that integrating Stevenage Borough Council’s Customer Relationship Management system and downstream applications with the portal, via a centralised integration layer, was the most effective choice. The PoC results helped Stevenage Borough Council in selecting Liferay as its standard portal platform.

The self-service portal application will automate many manual processes and will enable Stevenage Borough Council’s customers to utilise online self-service application, with an overall improved customer experience.
